Summary of Job Expectations:
- Responsible for developing and cultivating business from new and developed prospects within the legal, healthcare and insurance industries through: Cold-calling, Follow-up calls, Email/written correspondence, Conference calls, Presentations, Proposal meetings, Incoming lead generation, Networking, Attendance at tradeshows and Referrals.
- Responsible for participating in regular development meetings with Sales and Marketing Departments to collaborate efforts between the two departments.
- Responsible for updating the Salesforce database with results on a daily basis.
(NOTE: This is primarily an inside sales position!)
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven top-notch sales experience, preferably in a service-based industry.
- College education with a strong GPA.
- Participation in extracurricular activities is preferred (i.e. Sports, Student Government, Greek Life, etc.).
- Must be a powerful and persuasive communicator with excellent listening skills.
- Must have the ability to persuade and influence others to "buy."
- Must have the ability to develop and deliver sales presentations.
- Must have knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have the ability to think on your feet.
- Must be self-motivated to produce results.
- Must have an eagerness to succeed.
- Must have the ability to take initiative.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office, email and Internet applications. Experience with Salesforce and ACT! helps.
