OneSource is a mid-sized, fast growing company in eastern Long Island that has an immediate opening for a Recruiter to grow into a major player within our Human Resources department! You will be responsible for attracting and selecting high caliber talent while directly impacting the company's success!
- Summary of Job Expectations:
- Full Cycle Recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Owns and manages the open positions by performing recruiting and sourcing activities, creating sourcing strategy and execution of this plan through a broad variety of effective channels including sourcing strategy and execution of this plan through a broad variety of effective channels including employee referrals, networking, Internet, LinkedIn and other media advertising.
- Work closely with hiring managers to establish performance indicators, benchmarks and timelines for each position to fill them with the best candidates.
- Positively market open positions as "opportunities" and present company as "choice employer" in the market.
- Maintain high-touch and proactive direct communication with potential candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting cycle.
- Coordinates and administers all pre-employment assessment testing, background checks, employment references, as well as the on-boarding process and new hire paperwork.
- Maintain awareness and keep current with trends in recruiting, employment and legislation.
- Attends and actively participates in networking events.

- Bachelor degree with a minimum of three years proven track record in recruitment and selection.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
- High-performing, results oriented actions are critical to success for a Recruiter.
- Proven track record of experience using traditional and creative/innovative techniques in attracting high caliber talent.
